02 · Method

From brief to handover

Every piece of work travels the same five checkpoints in order, and each checkpoint has something reviewable attached to it.

Step 01 · BRIEF

Brief

We take the brief, the constraint, and the deadline you actually have, and turn them into a single written target.

One page in.

FIG. 01Agreed scope
  • The problem, written plainly
  • The constraint that actually binds
  • The deadline you are working to

Written before a line of production code

Step 02 · FRAME

Frame

Data, routes, and interface decisions get settled in the open so nobody discovers them late.

Step 03 · BUILD

Build

Work lands in reviewable pieces you can see running, so course corrections stay cheap.

Step 04 · VERIFY

Verify

The paths that cost money when they break get attention before launch, not after.

Step 05 · SHIP

03 · Quality

Speed does not mean skipping

Fast is only useful if the result holds up, so four gates stay in place on every project.

Gate 01 · Scope

Nothing enters the build blind

Nothing enters the build without a written target and an owner.

ScopeOpened

Opened before the first commit

  • Written target agreed
  • Owner named

SCOPE DOC · ATTACHED

The target is written down before anything is built, and there is a name against it.

Written

target, not a conversation

owner named per project

Gate 02 · Review

Nothing merges unreviewed

No change merges unreviewed, including ours.

ReviewPassed

Runs on every pull request

  • Diff read line by line
  • Reviewer signed off

REVIEW · COMPLETE

Every change is read before it lands. Our own commits go through the same gate.

Gate 03 · Test

Critical paths are covered

Critical paths are covered before launch, and the coverage is shown to you.

VerificationPassed

Runs before launch, not after

  • Money paths tested
  • Failure paths tested
  • Results shared with you

COVERAGE · SHOWN TO YOU

What was tested and what it returned goes to you, not into a drawer.

Gate 04 · Handover

Docs land with the code

Documentation and access land with the code, not months later.

HandoverComplete

Delivered with the final deploy

  • Documentation written
  • Access transferred
  • Walkthrough recorded

HANDOVER · DELIVERED

Another team could pick this up without having to ask us anything.

04 · Outcomes

What we ship

Three kinds of work, and the same standard underneath all of them.

Start a project

Tell us what needs to ship.

One paragraph is enough: what you are building, what is blocking it, and when you need it live. We will read it and reply with what the first cycle would look like.

05 · FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions we get asked before the first call.

By removing waiting, not testing. Decisions get made early, work lands in small reviewable pieces, and verification runs alongside the build instead of at the end.

You do. Repository, infrastructure, and documentation are yours from day one.

A written problem, a decision-maker, and access to whatever system this touches. That is usually enough for the first cycle.

Generally yes. We work in the stack you already run wherever it is sane to do so, and we will tell you when it is not.

Per agreed scope, split across the cycles it takes to reach the checkpoints. You know the cost of the next cycle before it begins.

It depends on scope, and we would rather give you an honest cycle plan after the brief than a number before it.
